Food & Beverage Manager /Event Coordinator Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This person is held accountable for the entire cycle of the F&B operation including ordering, storing, preparing, and final delivery.
- Work cooperatively with accommodation partners to facilitate stay and play packages to attract tourists in all seasons.
- Actively seek opportunities to maximize the usage of the facility through promotion of in-house, groups, and corporate events.
- Ability to manage all financial aspects of F&B operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
- To direct and supervise all activities of food services areas including bar & grill, banquet, cafeteria, and on course.
- Oversees F&B inventories to ensure proper controls are in place.
- Oversees all service and culinary presentations, activities and quality in all assigned venues. Observes preparation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversees the maintenance of all equipment props, supplies, etc.
- Oversees the budget by reviewing financial transactions and monitoring the budget to ensure an efficient operation, and to ensure the expenditures stay within budget limitations.
- Schedule use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangements with clients.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
- Oversee effective hiring, training, evaluation, and performance of all staff in this area.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and/or Business Administration is desirable.
- Candidate must possess a minimum of five years experience in the field of
food & beverage at management level.
- Knowledge of all phases of food & beverage administration, cost control
and familiarity with beverage service is required.
- Advanced computer skills are required.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess well-developed leadership skills.
- Ability to implement and uphold service standards.
- Ability to work well in stressful situations.
