Food & Beverage Manager /Event Coordinator Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. This person is held accountable for the entire cycle of the F&B operation including ordering, storing, preparing, and final delivery.
  2. Work cooperatively with accommodation partners to facilitate stay and play packages to attract tourists in all seasons.
  3. Actively seek opportunities to maximize the usage of the facility through promotion of in-house, groups, and corporate events.
  4. Ability to manage all financial aspects of F&B operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
  5. To direct and supervise all activities of food services areas including bar & grill, banquet, cafeteria, and on course.
  6. Oversees F&B inventories to ensure proper controls are in place.
  7. Oversees all service and culinary presentations, activities and quality in all assigned venues. Observes preparation to ensure quality standards are met.
  8. Oversees the maintenance of all equipment props, supplies, etc.
  9. Oversees the budget by reviewing financial transactions and monitoring the budget to ensure an efficient operation, and to ensure the expenditures stay within budget limitations.
  10. Schedule use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangements with clients.
  11. Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
  12. Oversee effective hiring, training, evaluation, and performance of all staff in this area.
REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and/or Business Administration is desirable.
  2. Candidate must possess a minimum of five years experience in the field of food & beverage at management level.
  3. Knowledge of all phases of food & beverage administration, cost control and familiarity with beverage service is required.
  4. Advanced computer skills are required.
  5. Must have strong customer service skills.
  6. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Must possess well-developed leadership skills.
  8. Ability to implement and uphold service standards.
  9. Ability to work well in stressful situations.
